Dr NAGENDER KAUR ( born 04 June 1964) is an Indian social activist and educator. Her parents have had a major impact on her life; her father instilled a strong social conscience, while her mother taught her to be independent minded. After studying in Govt Girls School in Padampur, Sri Ganagnagar and Govt Girls College in Sri Ganganagar, Dr Kaur started teaching and realised that teaching was her passion as she aimed to become a teacher. She cleared RPSC School Lecturer examination in 1995 and Now She is well known Govt Principal of Ganganagar District.


She is best known for not only her efforts to educate the poor students by paying their school fee, providing school uniforms and basic necessary things to their domestic needs but also runs ‘Uniform and Note-book Bank’ for girl students since 2006.

Dr Kaur has been the active member of Vidyarthi Siksha Sehyog Samiti for 25 years, active participant of  Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao campaign of the Govt of India, Chief editor of the Literary composition of the Gangalehar, Writer of Apni Kitaab and a member of the editorial board of the newspaper Sakshar Ganga.



During the pandemic of Covid 19 she stitched 15,000 masks and distributed it without any cost to save the people of her locality and served the nation in 2020.

Being a teacher and principal, she has been awarded the various awards –
