Neha Bandopadhyay, a lady with generous heart, a born artist,a philanthropist changed the life of many around her is from Mumbai.

Neha Bandyopadhyay an artist heart was introduced to various art forms and music from earlychildhood. One of them was the famous Madhubani folk paintings. Little did she know
that her artistic skills and passion would end up transforming the lives of many underprivileged women in the future.

She graduated from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University and a master’s degree in Textile
and Education as well as MBA in Finance. She currently holds the position of the Independent Director in a public limited company along with being an advisory member of a Textile and Garment Institute.

One day, she encountered a life-changing experience! In the year 2010, her domestic
help lady had been recently married and shared her horrific instances of domestic violence. Neha decided to help the lady in overcoming the distress in her life along with many other married ladies of the community as they chose to suffer
in silence due to lack of social support and self-confidence.


 As a skilled Madhubani artist,Neha decided to impart her knowledge to the domestic help and other women of the community. Within a few months, these women were able to make amazing paintings duly signed by their name. With a diversified experience spanning over 20 years and a passion for challenges, Neha has worked with different people and communities. 

Thus,she was able to bring the paintings to the market through various corporate companies.
This innovative endeavour by Neha helped these women to live with respect, financially strong, self-reliant and happier communities. It gives her immense pleasure to give the gifts of creative expression to a generation of people to change their lives and at the same time save the heritage folk painting of Bihar - Madhubani Painting.


Neha is a trained Hindustani classical singer. She aims at making Indian classical music and art forms accessible to every child, through the SPICMACAY movement, where she is the Coordinator and volunteer from Maharashtra.
Armed with her strong academic credentials and passion for arts, Neha Bandyopadhyay plans to bring out the philanthropic side of her and help to bring about positive changes in the nation, by working closely with NGOs in conjunction with the corporate sector companies.
