Dr Karishma Sarkar from Guwahati is a role model of the Society ,a very focused and self motivated personality created world records for her talent.

Dr.Karishma was born on 11th January, 1998 in Maligaon Guwahati Assam. She loves singing since childhood. She has done many stage shows and won many competitions. Dr.Karishma belongs to a middle class family which consist of father( Mr. Shekhar Sarkar ) is a retired railway service man, Her mother Mrs. Rupa Sarkar who is a house wife but she is a very beautiful singer. And elder sister Sharmistha Sarkar is working in an MNC.
 Since childhood her life was really happening and enjoyable but during her teenage the family went through a big financial crisis. Because of that both  the sisters were facing problems even to complete there studies. But it was there stubbornness towards there goal  to complete there studies. Since childhood Dr.karishma was very talented and intelligent be it studies, Singing or any other thing. But due to the financial problems in the family she was unable to get a proper guidance. But if you have that focus in your mind towards your goals then no obstacles in life can stop you to achieve it.

Currently Dr.Karishma is working as a District Ambassador of Kamrup Metropolitan from WAC People Council.Dr. Karishma is also associated with many NGO'S.
In this lockdown she  utilised her time in the most creative manner she have received many acclods  in proving her talent in all the fields she wanted to reach heights may it be  Singing,Debate,Seminars, Quiz Competitions etc. She increased her knowledge by attending different courses from WHO, Google, Microsoft etc. In this Pandemic she did not leave any opportunity that came her way and recieved numerous certificates for the courses completed. She also passed her intellectual in many National, International & State Records. She have also received many national and international  awards for her contribution towards society in this pandemic period . she was nominated for Padma shri Award 2021. She is the proud recipient of one of the  Iconic Women of the world  2021 organised by SDP IAWA  INTERNATIONAL ICONIC WOMEN  2021 for her endeavours done in life to reach the ladder of Success.She created lots of awareness programmes in society to talk about Covid 19.
Her story is really inspiring for each and every one. Her story makes us feel we should never give up no matter how hard the situation is.Very rightly quoted "where there is a will there is a way".
