Dr. Satinder Malhotra is the Founder and CEO of Signature Interiors Designs, based  in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, a brand known for providing elegant and luxury architecture and interior design services for both residential and commercial projects. She is a multitasking personality, besides being a successful entrepreneur, she is an educationist, an author, a researcher, and a reviewer. Her passion for interiors encouraged her to pursue her dreams to work as an Interior Designer. She had to struggle to maintain a balance in her work field as a multitasking person but her hard work and perseverance paid off. She has received many awards on the National and International levels in the field of interior designing in a short span of her career as an Interior Designer.

She feels every woman has a hidden spirit but requires motivation and firm decisions to showcase her talents. “My biggest motivation has always come from the people in my life who supported me, who have believed in me and encouraged me to move ahead to achieve my dreams. My family is my backbone. They always supported me, my father always encouraged me and my mother was my ultimate strength. They were a source of inspiration for me.” 

Considering challenges to be a part of life, Satinder believes in pushing through the lows and being happy with the highs. “Always believe in yourself. No matter what life throws at you.  If life hits you, you should hit back even harder. Her mantra is to think that whatever the current situation there will come a time when everything will be alright, these are her words of wisdom that come from sheer experience. When problems arise in your life, do not give up. Have confidence in yourself, keep working hard and be positive. You will achieve what you’ve always wanted to.”

She feels to live your life to the fullest, start taking more risks and do the things you fear. Get good at being uncomfortable and stop walking the path of least resistance. She is working hard and pursuing her courses in Architecture and Fashion designing to enhance her creative skills in other fields also. She is passionate about women’s empowerment and aims to provide education and employment opportunities to women through online courses in Architecture, Interior Designing, and Fashion Designing. She is managing multiple roles and under her dynamic leadership plans to take her company to greater heights. She hopes that the upcoming years will be marked with milestones of progress, for her as well as her company.
