Manjari V Mahajan is  working as a Principal in a Government Senior Secondary School in Himachal. She has great Experience of 23 years  of teaching in  Biology to 11th and 12th grade students. In her Personal  domestic life she is  a social and cordial women with a good taste for cooking, knitting, gardening etc. She has  the tactics to run the domestic train efficiently. She strongly believes that women's financial independence, decision making capability and better social communication skills could improve their position in society.

She says "I was reared, nourished  and nurtured by literate parents, both were teachers in Education Department of Himachal Pradesh. While mother a scholar and teacher in Hindi. Her father with Masters in English, Hindi and Education, not only earned reputation as an English teacher but now he is pursuing his literary  taste by writing for 'Dailies''. The perennial contribution of her  parents has great support in shaping her  destiny as a reputed teacher of Biology by no means be denied. She also is blessed with  a very supportive husband Dr.Vikram Mahajan.He is working as  a Himachal Administrative Officer (HAS) .She feels proud  and delighted to state that he is her  arch-angel and guide who is intelligently guiding her at every step in persuing her literary activities. She is a mother of sweet daughter studying in 10th class.

After completing her BSc (Medical) She started MSc (Botany), after that she completed her MPhil.  Immediately after her MPhil course, she got the job as a  regular lecturer in Biology in a Government Senior Secondary School. She served as a lecturer in different Government schools of Himachal Pradesh for about 23 years before She got promoted as a Principal. As an administrator she is  performing her duties as a determined, resolute and disciplined Principal. She learnt the importance of hard work, sincerity, dutifulness, punctualness and amicability, all the hallmarks of a good teacher and a good administrator.

She says" In my opinion teaching is a challenging task. I believe in performing my duties with the highest degree of excellence, professionalism, intelligence, skills, devotion and dedication. As an educator I dream of students whose fullest potentials are developed to make them become responsible citizens."She has been working to promote girl education and education for children with special needs (CWSN) in her state. After her daily job hours, she is working as a volunteer with Sahara charitable society and connectf or NGO platform to teach under privileged students.

She has  been selected as one of the green educators of the state by HIMCOSTE(Himachal council of Science Technology and Environment) and have been working to educate people about  environmental issues and to adopt sustainable practices. She is a life member of 'The Orchid Society of India' that  is working for the conservation of medicinally and economically important Orchid plants.

She is  a changemaker on 'MyGov' Platform and write blog posts on various environmental and social issues and have won prizes in different competitions organised by My Gov.
